Three months travelling Thailand > New Zealand > Seattle > Canada
It’s Official

Most of you probably already know, but just incase I have forgotten to mention, me and my other half Kath are going travelling, we will be travelling the globe, starting from Heathrow on the 28th June this year > Thailand for a month where we will be taking part in an organised trip thanks to Realgap. From there we will be heading to the south island of New Zealand where we will be backpacking and hostelling for 2 weeks, before attending a volunteer project on the north island. The project will involve mostly conservation work, which will hopefully be a rewarding experience. The last leg of the trip consists of flying from NZ to Seattle in North America where we will start a 3 week backpacking tour of the national parks on the west side of Canada i.e. Banff, Jasper and Pacific Rim. There is a brief overview, and most of it has now being booked (* My wallet is now a little lighter
*) But im sure it will be worth it, as it’s a once in a life time opportunity. Keep an eye on this blog for photos and regular updates whilst we are away, hopefully there will be some great pics to come too….Watch this space ![]()

Only two months to go now, eh? I have to admit that I’m feeling a little jealous - the most exciting travelling that I’ve done recently is walking into town through the park this morning!
Looking forward to seeing/reading about your adventures in the the room with the big, blue ceiling!
Have fun,
Bread
PS: The important question is are we going to use this as an excuse for a party? “Happy Travelling”, or something? I think ale might be called for
