What’s been happening

A pretty predictable post, but seems as there is only the original post on this area of mattwaddy.com, I thought it best to give people a little update on what we have been doing. Over the last few weeks it’s pretty much been a case of shopping and researching for the trip. Most of our kit is ordered, such as the rucksacks and clothes. The rucksacks should be here tomorrow or early this week, and then there will be lots of walking to get used to 10-15Kg’s of weight on our backs (small wardrobes!). As we are running out of time before we go and seem to have lots of weddings etc coming up (must be that time of year), we will be trying to organise a leaving meal before we go, so expect a message or a phone call shortly on that front. There is still a lot to do, documents to sort and other items to get, but i’m confident we will be done in the next two weeks. Another short post, but with just over a month until we go, I doubt there will be another update. But do expect to see the journal of the trip here. Which will be updated as and when we get to a cyber cafe.
