The time is nigh:

Yes indeed, that has crept up very quickly. It seems like only a couple of weeks ago when we decided to go travelling. But tomorrow is the day we fly out! I’m really excited and just hope that all my preparation has paid off and that I don’t forget anything! First port of call will be Bangkok Thailand, where we start with a few nights in a Hotel before setting off on the real ‘Thailand Experience’.

Had a shock today when weighing my rucksack as it came in at a whopping 20.1Kgs so It really will be like walking around with a small child/wardrobe on my back, to be fair though over 5kgs of the total weight is my camera stuff….I really hope i don’t look back and regret taking it, seems as the photography opportunities are what I’m looking forward to most along with the cultural learning and well every other aspect to I guess….Well I feel that I’m beginning to rant, and really need to get checked in online (oh the joys of the internet!). So I will leave this entry as it is, and hopefully in a few days have some great stories to share. Check back soon…………
