Third part of the trip begins

Published by Matthew J. Ward | Filed under Travelling, Canada

Well we left from Christchurch and arrived in Seattle after a brief stop at LAX without any hiccups! We had a couple of nights in Seattle which is a great city, with some great culture and diversity…Looking forward to going back after the Canada experienceRight now we are one week into the Canadian Parks West tour courtesy of Trek America…The scenery in truly stunning and I’m feeling in my element out here. Things are cheap and the people are extremely friendly. So far we have done a couple of the lesser know parks as well as Banff which we arrived at yesterday. We have seen a wide range of wildlife including a bear, bald eagle and other small rodents such as chipmunks and gophers. It really is picturesque here and words can’t describe what a photo can, and yes I have been pretty snap happy here, with some wonderful shots which will be posted when I get back to the UK…Yet again there is a downside to using RAW capture…but it should be worth the wait. The other day I did white water rafting down the Kicking Horse River on class 3 and 4 rapids, which was excellent as there had been a huge storm the night before, and thus there was a huge swell on the river! Going to have to wrap things up for now, running out of time, and don’t really want to spend much time indoors when I’m in stunning Canada….See you all soon…

Tut tut sir, you are as lax as me with your updates! Nice to know you had a good time. Just wanted to say that I _will_ be getting you a flickr pro account (assuming you actually want one), and that PayPal is scheduled to return at the end of next month - so that’s when.

Little note - Dawsons site is now a .net not a .com after a little domain problem… I tried getting there from your links on the right.
